Our Story
Built Around the People Who Live Here
Amanta began with a simple belief: that older adults deserve a living environment that honours their individuality, supports their daily needs, and keeps them connected to the people they love.
โ Back to HomeWho We Are
A Community of Care in Bangkok
Amanta was established to address a recognised gap in Bangkok's care landscape: thoughtful, professionally staffed residential homes where older adults could live with dignity and receive consistent, personal support.
Located on Charoenkrung Road in the Bang Kho Laem district, our home occupies a calm setting close to the river. We designed every aspect of the environment โ from room layouts to communal spaces โ to feel genuinely residential rather than institutional.
Our team is a blend of experienced care professionals and dedicated support staff who share a commitment to patience and attentiveness. We hold regular training sessions, involve staff in care planning conversations, and maintain staffing levels that allow meaningful time with each resident.
Families who choose Amanta often describe a sense of relief โ not just in knowing their loved one is safe, but in feeling genuinely welcomed as part of the community themselves.

Our Standards
How We Maintain Quality Care
These are the principles and practices that guide every aspect of life at Amanta, from the physical environment to the way our team communicates with families.
Individual Care Plans
Every resident has a written care plan developed in collaboration with their family on admission. Plans are reviewed regularly and updated as needs change.
Ongoing Staff Training
Care team members participate in regular training covering dementia support, safe medication handling, communication with older adults, and emergency response procedures.
Safe, Regulated Environment
The home is maintained to Thai Department of Health residential facility standards, with regular safety assessments covering fire, hygiene, and physical accessibility.
Privacy and Dignity
Residents' personal information is handled with care and discretion. Our team is trained to approach all personal care tasks with respect for privacy and individual preferences.
Open Family Communication
Families receive regular updates on their loved one's wellbeing. Our team is available during office hours for questions, and urgent matters are communicated promptly at any time.
Nutritional Care Standards
Our kitchen team prepares nutritionally balanced meals with consideration for dietary needs, cultural preferences, and any medically indicated restrictions for each resident.
Residential Care in Bangkok โ What Families Look For
Finding a suitable residential care arrangement for an older family member is a decision that deserves careful thought. Families in Bangkok often weigh factors including proximity to familiar neighbourhoods, the quality of daily care, the qualifications of staff, and the overall atmosphere of the home.
At Amanta, we recognise that moving into residential care is a significant transition. Our approach centres on making that transition as settled as possible โ through a thorough admission process, a personalised care plan, and a warm introduction to the staff and routines of the home.
Our location in Bang Kho Laem places us within a well-established area of Bangkok, with strong transport connections that make visiting straightforward for families living across the city. The Charoenkrung corridor is known for its community character and river proximity, qualities that inform the calm atmosphere we maintain within the home.
For families considering Memory Care, our dedicated programme offers a structured and supportive environment for those in the early to moderate stages of dementia. Our care team approaches this work with patience, consistency, and a genuine understanding of the challenges these residents and their families face each day.
Come and See the Home for Yourself
We invite families to visit Amanta, meet the team, and walk through the spaces where residents live each day. It is often the best way to answer questions that words cannot.
